1 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard
Sacramento, California (September 16, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a rollover car crash that occurred in South Sacramento early Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at about 1:24 a.m. September 15, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard.
A white Ford Crown Victoria was traveling on the roadway when the driver was cut off by a semi-truck, causing the Ford to travel off the roadway.
The Ford Victoria crashed and overturned onto its roof.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
