Person Severely Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash at Watt and Whitney Avenues
Sacramento, California (March 20, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a car on Friday night in Sacramento.
The pedestrian collision, which was reported at about 9:39 p.m. March 15, occurred in the area of Watt and Whitney avenues.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a pedestrian, whose identity remains unknown to this time, was hit by a vehicle at the junction of Watt and Whitney avenues.
Person Hospitalized after Sacramento Pedestrian Accident
The victim was found lying on the roadside after the collision by the fire department personnel along with the paramedics. The patient sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital for immediate treatment.
Authorities are still carrying out an investigation to determine what caused the accident.
