Sacramento, California (November 30, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Friday night along West Capitol Avenue in Sacramento, authorities said.
The accident took place at about 8:21 p.m.Friday, November 29 in the area of West Capitol Avenue and Pecan Street.
According to the police, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on West Capitol Avenue.

The pedestrian sustained head injuries and was transported to a hospital. The name and condition of the patent at this time were not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
