1 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Florin Road
Sacramento, California (September 2, 2020) – A multi-vehicle collision was reported in South Sacramento on Tuesday afternoon, September 1.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Florin Road at about 5:31 p.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.
The authorities said three vehicles were involved in the accident. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, one of the vehicles reportedly overturned after the collision.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
