Rider Sustained Major Injuries in Sacramento Motorcycle Crash Near Greenback and Garfield Avenues, January 10
Sacramento, California (January 11, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a rider sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident that happened in the area of Sacramento late on Friday night.
The motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Garfield Avenue near the Interstate 80 Freeway at about 9:52 p.m.
As per the CHP report, a black motorcycle and a silver BMW sedan crashed near the intersection for reasons still under an active investigation.
Motorcyclist Struck and Seriously Injured by Vehicle in Sacramento
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim received first aid treatment from Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics and then rushed to the hospital for further medication.
Meanwhile, the identity and the current condition of the patient remain unknown to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of the highway for an unknown time.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
