Rider Killed in Sacramento Traffic Accident at Dewey Drive and Madison Avenue
Sacramento, California (June 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Friday afternoon in Sacramento County.
The fatal collision occurred at about 4:36 p.m. June 21, in the area of Dewey Drive and Madison Avenue, near the Patriots Park.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch indicated that a gold Honda Accord collided with a red and black colored Honda motorbike at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
Motorcyclist Struck and Killed by Car in Sacramento County, June 21
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved Honda stopped after the collision and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The detectives handling the case are still gathering more evidence and information to identify the leading cause of the crash.
