Sacramento, California (September 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision in Sacramento on Saturday night, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at about 8:26 p.m. September 21, at the intersection of Fulton Avenue Azalea Road between Northrop Avenue and Exeter Square Lane
The CHP said a motorcycle and a black Toyota Tacoma collided at the intersection for an unknown reason. Due to the impact, the bike caught fire while the Toyota Tacoma ended up on the right-hand shoulder.
Sacramento Motorcycle Accident at Fulton Avenue and Azalea Road
The motorcyclist suffered minor injury in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck.
The identity and current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved car stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The investigation is underway.
