Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Car Collision on 5 Freeway near Sutterville Road
Sacramento, California (September 17, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that took place Tuesday morning in Sacramento.
The incident occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of Sutterville Road.
CHP said three or four vehicles were involved in the pile-up.
Paramedics who responded to the scene said minor injuries were sustained in the accident.
The crash forced the closure of the two right lanes of the freeway from 7:45 a.m. to 8:1 a.m.
The accident is under an active investigation.
