73-Year-Old Man Dies in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident at H Street and San Miguel Way
Sacramento, California (March 28, 2019) – A 73-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorized bicycle in Sacramento Saturday afternoon.
The accident was reported at around 5:00 p.m. March 23, in the area of H Street and San Miguel Way.
According to the reports, the accident happened when a motorized bike hit the elderly man while he was crossing the road near the intersection. The reason as to why the accident happened is not known to this time.
Man Fatally Hit by Bike in Sacramento
The male party sustained major injuries following the wreck. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead. The motorized bike rider was also hospitalized for treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of H Street for some hours but it was reopened as of 8:00 p.m.
The accident is under an active investigation.
