Sacramento, CA: Major Wrong-Way Car Crash on Highway 50 and Harbor Boulevard
Diver Pinned after Sacramento Accident on Highway 50 near Harbor Boulevard

Sacramento, California (September 23, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained after a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in the area of Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 12:18 a.m. Monday, on westbound Highway 50, just west of Harbor Boulevard.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed. One vehicle was reportedly traveling eastbound in westbound lanes prior to the crash.

Firefighters extricated a driver pinned inside one of the vehicles due to the crash. The victim’s name and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 2, 3 and 4 following the crash.
Oil was scattered in the roadway and a Caltrans sweeper truck was requested for a clearing operation.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
