3 Hospitalized after Sacramento Multi-Car Crash at S Watt Avenue and Kiefer Boulevard
Sacramento, California (May 8, 2020) – Three people were sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
About five vehicles collided at around 2:10 p.m. at S Watt Avenue and Kiefer Boulevard.
Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find the vehicles blocking the lanes.
Multiple Injured in Sacramento Accident Thursday
Authorities said the accident resulted in serious injuries. Three people were transported to the hospital for treatment in unknown condition.
All northbound lanes of S Watt Avenue remained shut down for about an hour to allow the rescue team to offer aid to the victims and as officers investigated the crash.
