Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash on 80 Freeway and Winters Street Thursday
Sacramento, California (September 19, 2019) — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident in Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash occurred at around 2:48 p.m. on 80 Freeway and Winters Street.
As per the CHP report, a man was riding his motorcycle down the 80 Freeway when for an unknown reason, he collided with a white sedan.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. The name and condition of the rider were not immediately disclosed.
No further details were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
