Sacramento, California (August 17, 2020) – At least one person sustained major injuries following a multi-vehicle collision that occurred, near Madison Avenue, in Sacramento Sunday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The multiple vehicles collided on the Interstate 80 Freeway at about 11:20 p.m. August 16.

As per the CHP report, a motorcycle and at least ten vehicles collided along the eastbound side of the roadway for undisclosed reasons.

Due to the impact, at least one of the involved automobiles faced the wrong way.

Medical personnel responded at the crash site and attended to one unidentified victim who sustained major injuries.

Meanwhile, the CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
