Several Hospitalized after Sacramento Big Rig Crash on 5 Freeway near Airport Boulevard Off-Ramp
Sacramento, California (October 28, 2020) – Authorities said several people were hospitalized after a big rig collision that took place Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, and a third car collided at about 4:22 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at Airport Boulevard off-ramp.

Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported several victims to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Debris from the crash was scattered in traffic lanes, and about 50 feet of guardrail was damaged.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
