1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Garden Highway
Sacramento, California (December 24, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic crash on Monday afternoon in the area of Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 4:32 p.m. Monday, December 23, on southbound 5 Freeway, just north of Garden Highway.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 4 following the crash.
