Sacramento, CA: Big Rig Crash on Highway 99
At Least 1 Injured in Sacramento Truck Accident on Highway 99 at Florin Road On-Ramp
Sacramento, California (March 24, 2021) – Minor injuries were reported following a traffic accident involving a big rig in South Sacramento Wednesday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred just after 2:10 p.m. at the Florin Road on-ramp onto northbound Highway 99.
As per the CHP report, the big rig was entering the on-ramp when, for unknown reasons, it struck another vehicle. The impact caused the truck to flip over.
Minor Injury Truck Accident on Highway 99 in Sacramento
Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries. The exact number of injured parties and their identities were not immediately disclosed.
All lanes of the highway were closed while the investigation and cleanup took place.
