Rider Critically Injured in Sacramento Bicycle Collision on Jefferson Boulevard
Sacramento, California (March 30, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in West Sacramento, according to Sacramento police.
The accident occurred at around 3 p.m. March 29, on Jefferson Boulevard near Gregory Avenue.
Police said a person on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.
Rider Critically Hurt in Sacramento Bicycle Collision
The rider was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have played a role in the accident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
