Sacramento, California (March 20, 2021) – A fiery single-vehicle accident has claimed the lives of two people early Saturday morning in Sacramento, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Bradshaw Road, just south of Jackson Road.
According to the CHP, a Jaguar was traveling northbound on Bradshaw Road when, for unknown reasons, it skidded sideways onto the center divider area and struck a tree.
After the impact, the vehicle split into two and caught fire.

The driver and passenger were killed in the accident. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities are still investigating if intoxication played a role in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
