Sacramento Patrol Car Collision on Interstate 80 near Auburn Boulevard Injures 2 Victims
Sacramento, California (November 7, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported Friday afternoon following a traffic collision involving a Patrol car in Sacramento.
The two-vehicle crash took place on the Interstate 80 near Auburn Boulevard, about noon November 6.
The accident happened when an officer pulled up behind an automobile whose driver was attempting to sell jewelry on the interstate.
Another car reportedly struck the officer’s vehicle as they cited the driver of the stopped car.
Minor Injury Sacramento Patrol Car Crash
As per the California Highway Patrol report, two unidentified people riding in the car that hit the patrol vehicle, including its driver, survived with minor injuries.
There were no other victims hurt in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
