1 Injured in Sacramento Car Crash at Fernridge Drive and Gerber Road

Sacramento, California (January 24, 2019) – One person was injured after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday night in the area of Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 9:02 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, at Fernridge Drive and Gerber Road.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. The impact caused the vehicles to hit a transformer box.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.
