Sacramento, California (August 7, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in South Sacramento early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:39 a.m. on Highway 99 near 47th Avenue.
A Toyota sedan and a Chrysler PT Cruiser were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.

The authorities said the driver of the PT Cruiser sustained head injuries in the collision and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
