Ruben Rodriguez ID’d as 89-Year-Old Man Killed in La Verne Pedestrian Crash at Arrow Highway and A Street
La Verne, California (August 7, 2019) – an elderly man who was struck and killed by a vehicle in La Verne last Wednesday afternoon has been identified as Ruben Rodriguez, 89, of La Verne, according to the coroner’s office.
The collision was reported at around 12:25 p.m. on July 31, at Arrow Highway and A Street.
Police said Rodriguez was hit by a vehicle of unspecified built for unknown reasons.

Rodriguez was found lying on the highway by paramedics along with the La Verne Police Department and La Verne Fire Department who arrived at the site shortly after the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigators.
Police are investigating the crash.
