Roy Woo ID’d as 42-Year-Old Man Killed in Oakland Car Accident on Skyline Boulevard

Oakland, California (September 19, 2020) – Roy Woo, 42, of Oakland, has been identified as the man who was killed in a single-car crash that left one other person injured on Thursday night in Oakland, authorities.
The deadly accident occurred in the 11700 block of Skyline Boulevard, at about 10:11 p.m., on September 17.
According to the police, a 2020 BMW M340i, driven by a 39-year-old man from Oakland, was traveling eastbound on Skyline Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, it lost control and went left of the roadway.
The car reportedly crashed into a dirt embankment and struck several trees.
Roy Woo Dies after Traffic Accident on Skyline Boulevard
Woo, who was a passenger in the BMW, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 39-year-old man was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
It was not clear if intoxication or speed played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
