CHP Investigating Deadly Roseville Car Crash near Highway 65 Off-Ramp to Galleria Boulevard

Roseville, California (November 16, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a single-car crash that happened Sunday evening in Roseville, leaving a teen dead and two others injured.
According to a local news source, a car believed to have been traveling at a high rate of speed went off the roadway at around 7:30 p.m. near the Highway 65 off-ramp for Galleria Boulevard near the Roseville Galleria.
The vehicle was occupied by two males and a female. All were teenagers between the ages of 17 and 19.
One boy died in the accident, and the other two victims were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.
Authorities said the crash may have happened as a result of the car exiting the highway at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway.
At about 9:50 p.m., authorities investigating the crash said the Galleria Boulevard off-ramp would be closed for another 30 to 45 minutes.
