Roseville, California (November 16, 2020) – A 19-year-old man was killed in a Sunday evening traffic accident that left a 17-year-old boy from Rocklin and a 16-year-old girl from Roseville injured in Roseville, authorities said.

The deadly single-vehicle accident transpired at about 7:30 p.m., on November 15, near the Highway 65 off-ramp for Galleria Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ford Mustang, driven by the 19-year-old man, was taking the exit from the highway at a high rate of speed. 

The car drifted off the roadway and became airborne, ejecting the 17-year-old boy and the 16-year-old girl, the officials said.

Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two teens were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.

Traffic on the off-ramp was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
