Rider Killed in Rosamond Motorcycle Accident on Highway 14 near Avenue A

Rosamond, California (September 2, 2020) – A 37-year-old Rosamond man died following a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning in Rosamond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The fatal traffic collision was reported at about 6:30 a.m., September 2, on Highway 14, just south of Avenue A.
The accident happened when 43-year-old Jesse Ingle, who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro southbound on SR-14 from the Avenue A on-ramp, became distracted and lost control of his vehicle.
The Camaro then slammed into the curb edge of the Avenue A to southbound SR-14 on-ramp and traveled across southbound lanes, directly into the path of a 2020 Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle operated by the 37-year-old man southbound on Highway 14 in the No. 1 lane.
The Chevrolet Camaro collided with the motorcycle in the process.

Due to the impact, the unidentified rider was ejected from the bike and declared dead at the scene.
Ingle, a Rosamond resident, stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the law.
Meanwhile, the deadly accident remains under investigation.
