Ronald Harris ID’d as Suspected Arrested after San Bernardino Pedestrian Crash at Second Street and G Street

San Bernardino, California (December 29, 2020) – Ronald Harris, 30, has been identified as the suspect who was arrested after a Sunday evening pedestrian accident that killed a 42-year-old man in San Bernardino, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 7:45 p.m., on December 27, at the intersection of Second Street and G Street.
According to the police, the 42-year-old male pedestrian was in a crosswalk when a vehicle, driven by Harris, struck him.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Harris fled the scene but was later arrested. He was allegedly under the influence of marijuana and alcohol at the time of the crash. Harris was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and hit-and-run causing injury or death, the police said.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
