Rolando Garcia Arrested after Lake View Terrace Crash at Foothill Boulevard and Wheatland Avenue
Lake View Terrace, California (October 27, 2019) – Rolando Garcia, 32, was arrested following a hit-and-run collision that left two horses dead and two people critically injured on Friday night in Lake View Terrace, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. October 25, at Foothill Boulevard and Wheatland Avenue.
According to the report, two people were riding on horseback when a van hit them. The van then crashed into a wall.
The two riders were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The two horses died at the scene of the accident.

The driver who hit the riders reportedly fled the scene on foot but was later located. The suspect, later identified as Garcia, was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
The crash is under investigation.
