57-Year –Old Robert Mitchell Killed in Marysville Car Crash at Marine Drive and Southbound I5 Freeway

Marysville, California (June 11, 2019) – 57-year –old Robert Mitchell has been identified as the victim killed in Marysville last week Monday morning.
The fatal collision occurred at around 10:00 a.m. June 2, at Marine Drive and the southbound I5 on-ramp.
The accident involved a 2015 Cargo van driven by Mitchell and a 2009 year modeled vehicle. The initial report indicated that Mitchell had been in the process of making a left turn when his vehicle collided with the 2009 vehicle driven by a 31-year-old woman for unknown reasons.
Robert Mitchell Killed After Car Crash in Marysville
Mitchell sustained fatal injuries following the wreck. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the emergency responders. The 31-year-old woman was uninjured in the accident.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
