Minor Injuries Sustained in Riverside Car Accident on Highway 91 at Buchanan Street
Riverside, California (June 30, 2020) – Firefighters responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning on Highway 91 in Riverside, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The five-car pileup transpired at about 9:50 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the highway at Buchanan Street.
A party reporting the accident said one of the vehicles was smoking. That person took two children, one of them an infant, out of the car.
Riverside City and Corona firefighters responded to the scene.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries. The report did not mention if there were patients who were hospitalized.
All eastbound traffic lanes were closed until at 10:55 a.m. when they were reopened.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
