Riverside, CA: Motorcyclist Severely Hurt in Crash on Highway 91

Riverside, California (March 9, 2021) – A motorcyclist was severely injured after colliding with a car Monday afternoon in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The rider was involved in the accident at around 2:31 p.m. on eastbound Highway 91 near Interstate 215.

The report said the motorcyclist collided with a black Kia Soul. The crash left both the rider and the motorcycle down in the roadway.

A white Dodge Ram was stopped sideways in traffic lanes, and the driver was directing traffic.

CHP officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene to find the rider with severe injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

An investigation to establish the cause of the crash is ongoing.
