Riverside, CA: Major Injuries Sustained in Traffic Crash on 215 Freeway near Eucalyptus Avenue

Riverside, California (June 6, 2021) – Authorities said a Riverside Crash that happened early Sunday morning on 215 Freeway left at least one person with major injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 1:38 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway, near Eucalyptus Avenue.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.

A party reporting the accident said at least one person was trapped inside one of the cars, and that airbags were deployed in both vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to find at least one person with severe injuries. The patient was rushed to the hospital for treatment in an unknown condition.

CHP is investigating to establish the factors that may have led to the collision.
