CHP Investigating Riverside Accident on 91 Freeway near Tyler Street

Riverside, California (May 20, 2021) – Minor injuries were reported Thursday morning following a Riverside accident, the California Highway Patrol said.
Three vehicles reportedly crashed on the 91 Freeway near Tyler Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. on May 20.
Officials identified the involved vehicles as a red Chevrolet Cobalt sedan, a silver Lexus sedan and a black SUV. The initial report showed that the Cobalt sedan slammed into the back of Lexus sedan in the No. 2 lane of the interstate for unknown reasons.

The crash resulted in minor injuries, as per the report.
Meanwhile, the CHP requested a tow truck to remove at least one of the wrecked automobiles away from the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
