Riverbank, California (August 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported Tuesday morning following a three-car accident east of Riverbank, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened at around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Albers and Caribel Roads.

The CHP said a small white Ford sedan was traveling northbound on Albers Road when it stopped at a stop sign at Caribel Road, with a maroon Dodge Nitro compact SUV stooped behind it.

A small silver Ford SUV was traveling northbound on Albers Road at an unknown speed, approaching the vehicles from behind. As the light turned green, the sedan and Nitro began moving forward. The Nitro was then hit from behind by the silver SUV.

The force of the impact caused the Nitro to drift right and struck the sedan before rolling over. The Nitro flipped onto its roof while the silver SUV veered left and stopped at the intersection.
