Riverbank, California (May 26, 2021) – An alleged hit-and-run collision that happened near an intersection in Riverbank Tuesday night injured one person, the California Highway Patrol said.
The two-vehicle crash took place near Morrill Road and Coffee Road at approximately 8:05 p.m.
The CHP said the two vehicles collided at the intersection near Patterson Road at the night hours. One of the drivers was reportedly moving at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
Riverbank Hit-and-Run Accident
As per the report, the collision left one unidentified person hurt.
The motorist who caused the wreck escaped the scene before the police arrived.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
