Tulare, California (August 5, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identities of four people who were killed in a motorcycle accident involving a wrong-way motorist in Strathmore, Tulare County, early Sunday morning.

According to a local news source, the fatal motorcycle accident occurred at about 2 a.m. August 4, on Highway 65 near Avenue 196.

The authorities said 24-year-old Jazmin Paramo was driving her Infiniti northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 65 when she struck two motorcycles operated by 47-year-old Gilbert Vargas and 43-year-old Jose Vargas.

The two riders were killed in the collision.

Also killed in the crash were motorcycle passengers identified as 40-year-old Rita Vargas and 39-year-old Mitzy Rodriguez.

Paramo sustained major injuries and was taken Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment. She was later arrested on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
