At Least 1 Severely Injured in Rio Vista Truck Crash on Highway 160 near W Sherman Island Road
Rio Vista, California (December 10, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a truck collision that happened Wednesday morning in Rio Vista, leaving at least one person severely injured.
A dually pickup truck pulling a trailer towing a Bobcat equipment collided with a Cadillac sedan. The Bobcat fell-off the trailer and was blocking the roadway together with the pickup truck and sedan.
The collision happened at around 9:23 a.m. on northbound Highway 160, just a mile south of W Sherman Island Road.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help at least one person who sustained severe injuries.
Three tow trucks were requested to remove both vehicles and the Bobcat from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
