Arizona Man Ricky Acosta ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Fairfield Accident on E. Travis Boulevard
Fairfield, California (January 11, 2019) – An Arizona man has been identified as the victim of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident that occurred Thursday morning in Fairfield, according to police.
Ricky Acosta, 39, died in the horrific crash that was reported at about 6:40 a.m. January 10, on E. Travis Boulevard between Kidder Avenue and North Texas Street.
Police said Acosta was hit by an unspecified vehicle for an unknown reason. The driver stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
According to the police, Acosta died at the scene.
No details were provided on the identity of the driver involved.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
