Richard Urzúa Identified as Man Injured in South Gate Pedestrian Crash at Long Beach Boulevard and Indiana Avenue
South Gate, California (September 17, 2020) – Richard Urzúa, 54, has been identified as the man who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday afternoon in South Gate, authorities said.
The major injury crash transpired at about 12:30 p.m., on September 13, at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Indiana Avenue.
According to the police, Urzúa was struck by a black Chrysler 300 while he was trying to cross the roadway.

Urzúa was critically injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The involved driver fled the scene. His vehicle had black tinted windows and had sustained damage to its driver’s front side and a damaged side mirror.
