Nou Yang ID’d as Man Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash at Clinton and Weber Avenues

Fresno, California (September 17, 2020) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has identified Nou Yang, 62, of Fresno, as the man who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Fresno.
The deadly accident happened just before 7:20 p.m., on September 12, at Clinton and Weber Avenues.
As per the police report, Yang was pushing his 4-year-old granddaughter with a stroller when the vehicle struck them. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Nou Yang Dies after Pedestrian Crash at Clinton and Weber Avenues
Yang was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Yang’s granddaughter sustained minor injuries.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. The suspect’s vehicle is a white 2018-2019 Nissan Maxima or Altima with front-end damage.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
