Richard Blair-Rodriguez Among 3 Killed in Fresno Car Crash at Maple Avenue and Kings Canyon Road
Fresno, California (September 12, 2020) – Richard Blair-Rodriguez, 32, of Fresno, has been identified as one of the three persons who were killed in a head-on crash on Thursday night in Fresno, authorities said.
The deadly two-vehicle crash happened at about 8:15 p.m., on September 10, at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Kings Canyon Road.
According to the police, a silver BMW, driven by Blair-Rodriguez, was traveling northbound on Maple Avenue when it drifted into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a Hyundai, driven by Zaira Lamas, 26, of Fresno.

Both drivers Blair-Rodriguez and Lamas, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Armando Duran Hernandez, 10, of Fresno, who was a passenger in the Hyundai, was also declared dead at the scene.
A female passenger in the Hyundai and a mother to Hernandez was taken to the University of California, Davis Medical Center in critical condition. She was identified as Lamas’ partner.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
