Richard Beaver Killed after Shasta Lake Crash near Shasta Dam Boulevard and La Mesa Avenue
Shasta Lake, California (January 3, 2020) – Authorities have identified 34-year-old Richard “Ricky” Wesley Beaver of Shasta Lake as the pedestrian killed after a train collision last month.
According to the California Highway, the fatal collision happened at around 4:30 p.m. on December 21, near Shasta Dam Boulevard and La Mesa Avenue.

Officials said Beaver was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into an Amtrak train in the area.
Responding firefighters along with medical personnel performed CPR on the victim but he died of his injuries at the crash site.
No one aboard the train was hurt in the accident.
An investigation is underway.
