Rialto, California (March 16, 2020) – The Rialto Police Department has identified 30-year-old Tangi Holani, of Chino, as the victim who died following a car collision Friday morning in Rialto.

Authorities responded to the deadly crash site in the area of 3400 North Riverside Avenue south of Alder Avenue at about 5:34 a.m. March 12

The mishap began when a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Holani southbound on Riverside Avenue at a high rate of speed attempted to pass a black Toyota Camry.

The Cruiser then jumped the west curb, slammed into a block wall, and hit a tree.

Due to the impact, Holani was ejected onto the northbound lanes of Riverside Avenue and was struck by a silver Toyota Camry.

Sadly, Holani was declared dead at the crash site.

The Rialto Police Department is still investigating the cause of the accident.
