Reedley, California (May 8, 2019) – Four people were injured in an accident involving multiple vehicles on Monday morning in Reedley, according to a police report.

The crash took place at about 9:00 a.m. May 6, on Manning Avenue and Alta Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles, a Toyota Sienna, black Hyundai and a Silver Lexus were involved in the crash.  The Toyota Sienna reportedly ran a red light while driving east on Manning and suddenly swerved left before colliding head-on with a black Hyundai and a silver Lexus.

The driver of the Sienna was ejected from the vehicle, suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. A passenger in one of the cars suffered significant injuries and was transported to CMRC in Fresno while the other drivers sustained minor injuries and treated at local hospitals.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The crash is still under investigation.
