Injuries Reported in Redwood City Car Crash on Highway 101 near Marsh Road
Redwood City, California (February 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported following a traffic collision that occurred in Redwood City early Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Marsh Road shortly before 1 a.m.
As per the incident log, at least seven vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the manner in which the crash occurred was not immediately established.
One of the cars is reported to have veered off the roadway after the crash and landed in a ditch. Two of the vehicles sustained major front end damages.
The collision is reported to have resulted in minor injuries.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
