At Least 1 Hurt in Redwood City Car Crash on Highway 101 at Woodside Road

Redwood City, California (July 12, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash Friday morning in the area of Redwood City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:53 a.m. Friday, on northbound 101, just south of Woodside Road.
As per the CHP officials, four vehicles including a blue large van crashed for reasons still under investigation.
At Least 1 Injured in Car Crash on Highway 101
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
A SigAlert was issued closing lanes 1 and 2 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 8:49 a.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
