1 Hospitalized After Redwood City Bicycle Accident on Highway 84 at Alameda De Las Pulgas
Redwood City, California (August 17, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a bicycle collision in Redwood City Thursday morning, a local news source reported.
The crash was reported at about 7:30 a.m., August 13, on Highway 84 at Alameda De Las Pulgas.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a white Honda sedan crashed with a bicycle along the highway for reasons still under investigation.
Due to the impact, the bicyclist was ejected from the bike and sustained lacerations to their face and road rash to their knees and elbows.
The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital by paramedics for further treatment.
Meanwhile, officials did not immediately release details regarding the Honda operator.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
