Redwood City, California (May 10, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash Friday morning in the area of Redwood City, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 9:27 a.m. Friday, on northbound Highway 101, just south of Marsh Road on-ramp.

As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Authorities blocked lanes 4 and 5 following the crash.
