Redding, California (March 4, 2021) – A pedestrian accident that occurred at an intersection in Redding Thursday afternoon left a female party dead.
The deadly crash took place at the intersection of Girvan Road and Highway 237.
As per the report, a train hit a female pedestrian while walking northbound along the tracks.
The initial report showed that the conductor saw the pedestrian on the tracks and attempted to avoid hitting her by braking and horning but was too late to avoid striking her.
