Man Seriously Injured in Redding Crash on Livona Lane

Redding, California (May 28, 2021) – A man was seriously injured Thursday night in a traffic collision in Redding, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury crash happened at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, May 27, in the 11981 block of Livona Lane.
As per the CHP report, a truck was backing out on Livona Lane when the driver lost control of the truck, which collided with one or more vehicles.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated a male party who was trapped in the wreckage.
The man was then taken to a local hospital with major injuries. His name and condition were not immediately disclosed.
